Compared to November 2006, Retail sales for mostly durables (for example, clothing stores, stores for furniture, stores for second-hand goods, mail order houses) increased by 7.9 percent.
Seasonally adjusted, the monthly index figure for total retail trade is 150.0 (2000=100), which is a decrease of 0.7 percent since October 2007. Compared to the previous three months (June – August), the last three months' (September – November) retail trade increased by 1.2 percent, seasonally adjusted.
Turnover in total retail trade in October 2007 rose 7.1 percent compared with October 2006. The monthly index figure for September, seasonally adjusted, is 151.1.
