Industrial production increase in March

According to the State Statistical Office data, the industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2008 in comparison with February 2008 is 102.0.
The industrial production index in the Republic of Macedonia in March 2008 in comparison with average production in 2005 is 106.3.
The industrial production in the section Mining and quarrying in March 2008 in comparison with average production in 2005 is increased by 28.1%, in the section Manufacturing industry is increased by 5.9% and in the section Electricity, gas and water supply is increased by 1.8%.
The industrial production by Main Industrial Groups in March 2008 in comparison with average production in 2005 is bigger in Energy by 9.5%, Intermediate goods industries, except energy by 15.0%, Capital goods industries by 29.5% and Durable consumer goods industries by 40.5% but is lower in Non-Durable consumer goods industries by 7.4%.
