Wool & Wollens Export Council to issue Certificate of Origin

The Gvernment of India has authorised Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) to issue Certificate of Origin (Non-Preferential) for all categories of textiles and textiles products to exporters.
Henceforth, exporters of textiles and textile products can obtain Certificate of Origin from the Council, said Ashok Jaidma, Chairman, WWEPC.
Jaidma further informed that the export of wool and wool blended products from April to July 2005 has grown by 14.50 percent in comparison to the same period previous year.
The Wool & Woollens Export Promotion Council helps importers all over the world to gain access to quality products made in India. It helps them to explore new areas of India's woollen through a network of more than 1000 member-exporters.
The Council helps its member-exporters to maintain and cultivate high standards and to keep in touch with buyers from all over the world.
