Buyukeksi, the new President of Exporters Assembly

Mr Mehmet Buyukeksi has been elected as the new President of Turkish Exporters' Assembly yesterday. The election process took place in a regular general assembly meeting that was held in Istanbul, where Mr Mehmet won against the strong candidate Adnan Dalgakiran.
Mr Buyukeksi was the Chairman of the board at the ITKIB Association of Leather and Leather Products Exporters and he was the President of the Turkish Association of Shoe Industrialists for six years.
The newly elected President is currently Deputy President of the Turkish Exporters' Congress, board member at the Istanbul Commerce Chamber, board member at the Turk Eximbank, board member at the Turkish Airlines Inc, board member at the Turkish Leather Foundation (TURDEV). He is a founder of the Foundation for Research, Development and Training of the Turkish Footwear Sector (TASEV), and was also Chairman of the board at the foundation from 1997-2006.
