Indian Carpet Expo concludes on high note - Rs 100 crs worth deals finalised

India Carpet Export fair which saw participation of 108 exhibitors from various parts of the country with 92 international buyers, concluded on October 17, 2005, at Varanasi, in North India.
During the three-day expo business deals worth over Rs 100 crore were finalised which was organised by Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) and All India Carpet Trade Fair Committee (AICTFC).
An interactive workshop was also held on various themes apart from showing most modern designs of carpets and wide-ranging floor coverings.
CEPC has estimated an export target of US $650 million in the current financial year and the organisers informed that the next fair will be held in February 2006 at New Delhi.
