India Carpet Expo to be held in March

The Carpet Export Promotion Council is organizing next India Carpet Expo, from 3rd to 5th March, 2011 in Hall No. 12 & 12A, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The India Carpet Expo has now been proved to be the sourcing window for the buyers all over the world. The business opportunities for participating manufacturer-exporters are tremendous.

The Council has magnified its efforts in terms of infrastructure & facilities of international stature and is confident that ICE would be exploring new business avenues for the participants.

The details of the participation fees and other facilities are as under:

i) Participation Fees : Rs. 4,000/- per sq. meter + Service Tax of 10.30%

a) Participation Fees includes a built-up stand with table, Chairs, Spot lights.

b) Booking will be entertained in the prescribed booking form with 50% advance payment .

ii) Compulsory Fees: Rs. 1500/- for profile entry in the Fair Directory.

iii) Payment Terms: 50% advance of Participation Fees along with Space Booking Form. Balance payment at least 10 days before the commencement of India Carpet Expo. All payments to be made by Demand Draft or at par cheque favouring 'Carpet Export Promotion Council ' payable at New Delhi.

The Council is making all possible efforts to:

• Organise Expo in a professional and international manner,
• Make global publicity campaign through Electronic Media to enlarge the scope of visit of overseas buyers,
• Provides two nights hotel accommodation to the 'Selected Buyers' only for which last date for registration is 15th February,2011..
• Showcase India's capability in procuring wide range of products,
• Open new business with new upcoming markets with new buyers for all segments of manufacturers & exporters of carpets as very encouraging response was shown by the Buyers in Domotex, 2011.

Founded in 1982, the CEPC was established by the Ministry of Textiles of the government of India to promote the export of hand-knotted rugs and all other types and styles of floor coverings from India.
