SYFA elects Officers and Directors

Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Association (SYFA) confirms that on April 28th, 2011 a new Board of Directors had been voted in by a majority vote of the association's membership.
The new Board Members are: President, Keith Adams of ITG/Burlington Worldwide; 1st Vice President, Ernie Hundley of Nilit America Inc. and 2nd VP, Mike Becker of Michael S. Becker Inc.
Directors consist of Mac Beard of Strategic Textile Solutions; Machell Apple of Valdese Weavers; Roger Crossfield of Goulston Technologies, Inc. (retired) and Joel Cornelius of Unifi, Inc. John Amirtharaj of Premiere Fibers will serve as membership chairman. The position of chairman of publicity will be held by Alasdair Carmichael of PCI Fibres while conference chairman will be held by Jerry Eskew of Oerlikon Textile Parts.
Alasdair Carmichael will continue to hold the position of Secretary/Treasurer.
