Leading cotton planting seed producer & marketer Delta and Pine Land Company announced it will release its operating results for its first quarter ended November 30, 2005, on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, before the market opens.

D&PL will conduct a conference call at 10:00 a.m. central time (11:00 a.m. eastern time) the same day to discuss the results. The call will also be webcast at www.vcall.com and will be available for 90 days.

Tom Jagodinski, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Kenny Avery, Vice President- Finance and Treasurer, will host the call.
