IAF & IAYF 2006 to be staged during Jan 25-28

Istanbul Shoe Fashion (IAF) 2006 (Summer) and Istanbul Shoe Machinery and Side Industry Fair (IAYF) 2006 prepared by TUYAP Fairs and Exhibitions Inc in cooperation with ART International Fair Organisation and Bizim Sektör, supported by IAYSAD Association of Shoe Manufacturers Supply Industrialists of Istanbul will be held during January 25-28, 2006 at Tüyap Fair Convention (TFC) and Congress Center Beylikdüzü-Istanbul/Turkey.
With its US $2.3 billion of domestic and international business volume, the shoes sector provides employment for 400,000 people.
The scope of the Istanbul Shoe Fair shall be; slippers, boots(industrial, security and military), children's shoes, men's shoes, women's shoes and sport shoes.
The shoe side industries consist of corporations having activities in various sectors and producing over 50 parts used in the shoe industry.
Even considered as being a different sector, it stands together with shoes sector due to its structural specifity and forms and integral part of it.
The scope of Istanbul Shoe Machinery and Side Industry Fair to be organised simultaneously with Istanbul Shoe Fair shall be; ready soles, leather, upper leather and leather for lining, laces and harness cords, accessories, iner soles, glues for shoes, finishing materials, labels and packaging materials, fort-bombe', nails and wires, heels, materials for the upper parts of the shoes made from woven and non woven textiles, sewing yarnsi machines used in shoe manufacturing, knifes and cutting tools, reinforcing materials, metal soles and bombings for security shoes, molds & molders.
