Cristal Global (Cristal) announced that it will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Asia Pacific sub-regions effective October 1st, 2011, or as contracts allow.
• In Eastern and Western Europe, including Turkey: Cristal will increase prices on all of its anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products by a minimum of €250 per metric ton and in Russia, the CIS countries and other European US Dollar markets by a minimum US $350 per metric ton. Previously announced price differentials will remain in place for specialized products sold in these markets. • In the Middle East and Africa: Prices for all anatase and rutile Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by up to US $700 per metric ton and in North Africa by up to €500 per metric ton. • In Asia Pacific: Prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in the Asian markets will increase by up to US $500 per metric ton. In Oceania, prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by up to Australian $500 per metric ton or up to US $500 per metric ton in the US Dollar markets. Previously announced additional price premiums will continue to be applied to sales of specialized products sold within the Asia Pacific region. • In Latin America: Prices for all Tiona and Cristal titanium dioxide (TiO2) products will increase by up to US $500 per metric ton. Previously announced price differentials for plastics products will remain in effect.
