GreenFiber develops GREEN CARE SILVER

GreenFiber International SA adds into its portfolio of 'Green products', a new one – GREEN CARE SILVER, a recycled fiber with antimicrobial properties, available in 1.3dtx up to 30 dtx Solid fiber, Hollow fibers, Hollow Siliconised or HCS fibers.

The new development is suitable for Apparel (undergarments, outerwear, work, sport and outdoor clothing), Home Textile (upholstery, curtains, towels, wipes), Bedding (mattresses, pillows, duvets, covers for pillows and duvets, bed and pillow cases).

Benefits of our GREEN CARE SILVER fibers are:

• Safe bacteriostatic effect against a large number of gram negative bacteria;

• The high-tech functionality that effectively reduces the development of bacteria and odors

• Act on the bacterial cell membrane, which inhabits function of the microorganism;

• Interrupts the food chain of house dust mites;

• Outstanding resistance and high temperature stability

These new products are accepted by Oeko-Tex Standard 100, classes I – IV, as our fibers already have this Oeko3edxc-Tex certification.

Lab determination of the antimicrobial activity showed a very good effect upon bacteria culture, with a reduction effect of 99.9 %.
