Sewfree & seam sealing tapes get bluesign certificate

Bemis Associates Inc, the leading manufacturer of heat seal films for the Apparel and Footwear industries, recently announced it has achieved bluesign certification for its portfolio of Sewfree adhesive films and seam sealing tapes. Bemis recently completed important steps towards fulfilling its corporate and social responsibility, requiring permanent screening of both its supply chain and its manufactured products.
All process stages in the company, including raw materials and supplies, are evaluated using strict compliance criteria, and Bemis is proud to announce that these criteria are continuously achieved by the company. This places the company on an elite list of certified raw material and component suppliers committed to following the most stringent, environmentally-friendly standards without compromising functionality or quality.

Bemis seam sealing tapes and Sewfree adhesive films are semi-finished goods often used in the manufacturing of apparel and gear.
