MEG plant of IOCL to resume operations

The biggest oil refiner in India and state-owned Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) will restart operations of its Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) by 18th or 19th November 2011.

This was revealed to fibre2fashion by an IOCL company official.

He said the MEG plant located in Panipat was taken off-stream earlier in mid-October 2011 and will resume operations within the next three days.

The MEG plant has a production capacity of 250,000 tons per annum.
