Sangam India Limited (SIL), a leading textile conglomerate in India, has introduced a new range in Corporate and Festive dressing. The clothes are designed & styled under the Designer label of Varun Bahl & Karan Johar.

“This festive season, we wanted to give our customers something that they have been looking forward to, ‘look like someone who actually they are’ and truly believe in themselves. We are positive that people across the country will relate to this message, and the new collection will receive a positive response,” said Mr. VK Sodani, Executive Director of SIL.

Sangam Suiting’s launched their latest collection on poly viscose and poly wool keeping in mind their aggressive expansion plans. The latest collection will have wrinkle free and anti-microbial qualities ingrained into the product offering.

Mr Sodani added, “During the fiscal year, Sangam Suiting’s plans to expand its collection and strategic alliances. We plan to roll out stain release and non-iron fabric collection very soon.”

SIL has released a print campaign for its new corporate and festive wear featuring its brand ambassador Virat Kohli. The concept of the campaign lies in the brand positioning “You are what you wear”.

The new campaign aims to differentiate Sangam products as better than any other product available in the market of the same segment.

Commenting on Sangam’s latest collection cricketer Virat Kohli said, “I admire the way the fabric falls when I wear a suit made from Sangam Suitings. I always choose to wear it, especially in the parties, and family occasions like weddings and festivals. I think the combination of fashionable textile and ease of wearing them is what Sangam Suitings is to me.”

SIL is a leading manufacturer of suitings and denim fabrics. Its suiting products are marketed under Sangam Brand.

The suitings business is part of SIL’s finished/woven fabric business. Sangam’s total synthetic woven fabrics production currently stands at 20.5 million metres per annum. The woven fabrics business accounts for nearly 18 percent of its total revenue.

Sangam’s leadership in woven fabrics is on account of its colours, blends, textures and finishes. The company’s strength to offer a vast product range stems from its ability to blend various yarns to ensure the right texture, style and above all, the right value for money products to its customers.

Over the years, SIL has developed an extensive distribution network across India and abroad. In the suitings business, nearly 30 to 40 percent of its revenues come from exports to countries like South Africa, Kenya, Middle East, Europe and Latin America.
