Nakoda's Manufacturing Segment up by 44.76% in Q2

The company saw an increase in revenue by a whopping 21.96% from Rs. 519.88 Cr to Rs. 634.04 Cr during the same period for the last fiscal.  The profit after tax for the quarter ended June 30, 2012 stood at Rs. 14.65 Cr, resulting into an increase of 21.38%, as against Rs. 12.07 Cr in the corresponding period of the last fiscal. EBITDA rose by 21.38% from 29.51 Cr to Rs. 36.03 Cr during the quarter.

Income from the Manufacturing Segment rose by 44.76% to Rs. 452.07 Cr from Rs. 312.29 Cr for the quarter under consideration. In the trading segment, the sales stood at Rs. 181.97 Cr from Rs. 207.58 Cr.

The revenue for the half year ended on 30th June, 2012 also rose by 29.81% from Rs. 970.75 Cr to Rs. 1260.13 Cr during the corresponding period of the previous year. Net Profits during the half year increased significantly by 28.01% from Rs. 22.71 Cr during the corresponding period in the last fiscal to Rs. 29.07 Cr.
