Trevira to display FR fabrics at Comfortex trade fair

For the third time now curtain manufacturers and fabric suppliers are presenting their new lines, including numerous collections in Trevira’s safety fibres and yarns.

For those who create and produce the curtains and decorative and upholstery fabrics the wide range of fibre and yarn types on offer constantly provide fresh opportunities and new looks in design. And the industry platform in Leipzig is the place to see and experience the creations they have made.

Among these this year are the latest collections from Trevira CS Gold Club members JAB, Kobe, Nya Nordiska and Sahco.

A great many Trevira CS materials by the exhibiting fabric suppliers are also to be found in fashion products. This use of materials in contemporary creative contexts shows that Trevira CS textiles not only impress from the functional point of view in terms of flame retardancy, they also reflect the zeitgeist and the trend.

The actual Trevira CS meeting point (Treff) is the official fairground café, also designed with the help of Trevira CS fabrics. 48 stools are covered with flame retardant materials, displaying the variety of the fabrics, especially in the high end sector. The fabric pennants on the tables strike a playful note in the Trevira CS Treff.

Another attractive aspect in this area is the white Trevira CS fabric (Evita CS, 3.30 m width) by Nya Nordiska, which forms the entrance to the Treff, rather like a stage curtain. A total of 230 running metres were used here. All the other Trevira CS articles in the décor are labelled accordingly and bear details on their origin. Among the highlights of the trade fair is the “Get Together“ on the Saturday night in the Trend Café (Hall 3/Stand E26), at the invitation of Trevira and Comfortex. From 18.00 h exhibitors, visitors and friends of Comfortex meet to take refreshments and exchange experiences.
