Sinopec raises its Jan CPL contract price for third time

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation or Sinopec has increased its caprolactam (CPL) price for January 2013 contract for the third time.
The newly revised contract price is 18,600 yuan/ton for solid state, premium product, in terms of three months acceptance.
The price has been raised by 300 yuan/ton from previous price of 18,300 yuan/ton, declared a few days ago.
Meanwhile, the mainstream CPL spot market was stable and prices were quoted in the range of 18,200-18,300 yuan/ton.
