Clothing manufacturer Chrome has pushed the limits of design with indestructible messenger bags and bike related clothing for the past 12 years.
Chrome has returned to the technical clothing arena with its launch of a line of bike related clothing with a raw urban edge.
The designs by President Mark Falvai bring a style other wise left out of the bicycle market or lacking when related to urban technical clothes. Features include the use of breathable and water-repellent 4-way stretch fabric, articulated knees and zipper secured cargo pockets.
According to Falvai, "There is a need for riding apparel that is technical as well as casual. This is a necessity of anyone living in an urban environment. The average city cyclist manages many tasks during the day; we have designed apparel that meets these different requirements without lacking the applications that bikers depend on."
This new line of urban riding clothing will consist of a 3/4-length messenger style knicker called Shins, and riding jacket. The Shins also include a lightly padded seat and inseam, secure pockets, and are cut high in back and low in front for superior comfort and feel.
In addition Falvai said, "The urban bike culture does not find spandex and bright clothing attractive, our design steps away from traditional methods and brings advanced fabrics with a clean, fresh look that can be worn from the street to the bar if needed."
Chrome offers domestic bags and clothing manufacturer located in the South of Market district of San Francisco.
