Hemptown appoints VP of HT Naturals clothing division

Environmentally friendly apparel company Hemptown Clothing Inc announced that Stephanie Knight has joined the company as Vice President, Strategic Sales of its HT Naturals(TM) clothing division.
Jerry Kroll, CEO of Hemptown, said, "Stephanie is a highly successful sales and marketing strategist for the athletic apparel industry. For the past 12 years she has held high profile positions where she identified market trends, defined product line compositions and implemented turn-around strategies for various divisions at a large international sports apparel company.”
“Stephanie is a proven sales leader with a broad range of global and US experience, and she is charged with expanding distribution of our HT Naturals(TM) products,” Kroll added.
Ms Knight most recently was senior key account manager on the Foot Locker Europe business at adidas International in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where she led all facets of account management for the Pan-European retailer since 2003. Prior to that, she was apparel category manager for national key accounts at adidas in Portland, OR, for four years where she led the entire product process for the $45 million US key account apparel business and led a team of product managers.
She has also been an apparel product line manager for national key accounts at adidas America and a young men's and men's active wear buyer at Troutman's Emporium.
Knight stated, "This is an outstanding opportunity to create high-quality organic apparel in the most eco-friendly manner. Sustainable fabrics are just beginning to enter the mainstream market and HT Naturals is well positioned to capture the growth.”
