Karstadt to open shops with latest collection by FIFA WC 2006 eve

KarstadtQuelle AG informed that under the motto 'Feel the Fan Spirit' already twelve shops opened in 2004. A further 168 followed throughout the country by the end of September 2005.
In the year of the Football World Championship fans can buy their outfits exclusively at about 300 Karstadt, Karstadt Kompakt ans Runners Point shops throughout Germany. And they can look forward to the new latest additions to the collection every spring and autumn.
There is a carpet of green beneath one's feet. Natural-look wooden elements with raised head pieces recall the bowl shape of a football stadium.
Floodlights light up the field from above. With just a few elements star designer Paolo Lucchetta has succeeded in evoking an authentic football atmosphere in the Karstadt stores. The Italian achieved the practical-visual realisation of the Official FIFA WC 2006TM Shop concept.
