Stefano Sassi as CEO of textile company Marzotto

Textile industry leader Marzotto S.p.A. announced that the Board of Directors (BOD) of the company met in Milan to appoint by cooptation Mr Stefano Sassi as Director, replacing Mr Paolo Scaroni.
The Board of Directors then passed a resolution to appoint Mr Stefano Sassi as Chief Executive Officer, conferring him executive powers. Mr Stefano Sassi will also continue to serve as the General Manager of the Company.
Messrs Antonio Favrin and Andrea Donà dalle Rose will continue to serve, respectively, as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Company, both without executive powers.
Mr Stefano Sassi has long served at Marzotto S.p.A. as General Manager of the Textile Sector. Mr Sassi's curriculum vitae is available at the Company's head office in Milan and its administrative office in Valdagno.
At the present time, Mr Sassi owns 15,000 Marzotto S.p.A. shares.
Marzotto Group offers brands of great prestige and, despite increasingly stronger and keener competition, holds world leadership in wool fabric production (Marzotto, Guabello, Marlane) and presents a growing selection of high-quality cotton fabrics (Tessuti di Sondrio).
