Idemitsu Kosan curtails benzene plant operating rates

Idemitsu Kosan is currently operating its benzene plant at curtailed capacity levels.
“The plant is presently operating at 85% of production capacity”, an official of Idemitsu informed fibre2fashion.
When quizzed on any imminent maintenance turnaround at the plant, the official replied by saying that, there will be no turnaround this year but next year during September-October.
Located in Tokuyama, Japan, the plant has a production capacity of 219,000 mt/year.
