CPC Corp to restart its No.2 aromatics plant next month

CPC Corporation, Taiwan’s state-owned petrochemical corporation, is planning to restart its Linyuan-based No. 2 aromatic plant next month.
“We plan to restart the No.2 aromatics plant on September 9, 2013,” a company official told fibre2fashion.
CPC had shut its No.2 aromatics plant in earlier this month due to lesser feedstock.
The plant has capacity to produce 240 kt/year of Paraxylene and 60 kt/year of O-xylene.
