CTT Group holds conference for textile industry

The CTT Group and its partners are hosting a conference breakfast on Wednesday, April 19th 2006 in Granby, from 7:30 am to 10:00 am at Hôtel Castel & Spa Confort, 901 Principale Street, Granby (Ballroom).
The CTT Group at this special event will focus on the development opportunities for textile industry:
-- Overview of the Value Added Textile Markets/CTT Group
-- Industrial strategy of MDEIE's textile sector
-- Update Government of Canada's CANTEX program/DEC
The overview of the Value Added Textile Market:
-- Estimated World Consumption of Technical Textiles in 2005: 20 million tones
-- Amounted to just above for a finished textile value of $110 billion US
-- Expected growth of 3.8 percent from 2005 to 2010
-- Canadian market estimated to above $1.4 billion
