Fiber-Line creates alternative product to Nomex yarns

The company has created a new product as an alternative to the Nomex 200 denier solution-dyed yarns that were discontinued by DuPont. The product had a type designation 430.
The COLORCOATMA family of products allows customers to:
-Achieve the desired color,
-Improve tensile strength by 10%, (Denier and elongation performance are unchanged.) and
-Add performance with coatings, e.g. adhesion-promotion, wear-resistance, water-blocking
Specific applications include wire harness covers, gaskets, military fabrics and garments, and other fire service applications. A wide range of colors are available including camouflage and olive green.
