Itema shows R9500 & A9500 models at Mexican Open House

Italian advanced weaving machine manufacturer, Itema hosted an Open House in Puebla, Mexico, where it showcased its best-selling rapier R9500 and airjet A9500 models.
In collaboration with the local Chamber of Textiles (CITEX), Itema Open House was hosted by the Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla and its Institute of Design and Technology Innovation (IDIT).
“Mexico, and Latin America as a whole, is an important market for Itema, counting a growing number of customers and strong, long-lasting partnerships across the region,” Itema said.
Marketing director, Fulvio Carlo Toma said, “With SylTextil, our exclusive representative in Mexico, Itema is well positioned to offer customers a complete and best-in- class technology and service.
“We are convinced that we are now ideally geared to growing our customer base in Mexico and, most importantly, to ensuring our customers satisfaction, which is our absolute priority,” he added.
Itema said 2014 is also turning out to be similar to 2013, the year in which it registered a 50 per cent year-on-year sales growth.
The weaving machine specialist is the only manufacturer in the world to provide the top three weft insertion technologies; rapier, airjet and projectile.
Itema continuously invests 6 per cent of annual profits in research advancements of breakthrough innovations through its ItemaLab hub. (AR)
