Textile Company Lakshmi Mills proposes 15% dividend

Lakshmi Mills Board of Directors has approved a dividend of 15 percent for the year 2005-2006 at a meeting held on May 25, 2006.
Company reported net sales of Rs1,506.45 million and a net profit of Rs64.25 million for the period ended March 2006.
The Laxmi Mills Company Limited (LMC) is one of the oldest composite mills of Southern India with its plants located at Coimbatore, Singanallur, Kovilpatti and Palladam in Tamil Nadu.
LMC is engaged in the business of manufacturing and trading of cotton and synthetic yarn , cotton fabric and staple fibre yarn.
