SPIC starts new non-woven fabric plant

Specialised Industries Company (SPIC), a subsidiary of Nuqul Group opened a new $40 million non-woven fabric plant in Thuheibeh.

SPIC has the similar operating facility in Sahab established in 1998 by parent company, Nuqul Group.

Occupying a total area of 22000 square metres, the plant is built on 550,000 square metres of land, informed SPIC's General Manager Hatem Otoum.

With the opening of new factory, company expects 50 percent rise in export as well as 150 new jobs, informed Otoum.

Nuqul Group has built up factory in dry area where basic facilities like water, power and roads are not available. But company has built infrastructure and roads so that any other interested companies can take benefit of it.
