S P Apparel inaugurates first phase of dyeing unit

As Part of the expansion plan, S P Apparel Ltd has inaugurated first phase of knit fabric dyeing unit at Sipcot Industrial area in Erode district in Tamil Nadu.
In first phase of the project company has invested Rs42 crore and in second phase Rs35 crore will be spent by the end of this year.
This expansion project is being carried out by taking advises of the foreign experts. After the expansion, company would be able to process 24 tons of fabric a day which will be used for captive consumption, informed P Sundararajan, Managing Director of the Company.
S P Apparel is expecting to obtain turnover of Rs275 crore of which Rs250 crore through exports and Rs25 crore from local retailing.
