Tandus receives 2006 Performance award from Premier Inc

Tandus, a leading commercial floorcovering manufacturer announced that it received a 2006 Performance Award for Supplier Quality Programs from Premier Inc., one of the largest healthcare group purchasing organizations in the United States. The award recognizes achievements in supplier quality, accuracy, timeliness, contracts and forecasting.

“Tandus has had a long relationship with Premier and its members and we are thrilled to receive this award. It recognizes the efforts of our entire organization and the focus we have on improving the quality of healthcare environments while lowering their costs,” said Ridley Kinsey, General Manager/Healthcare Markets for Tandus.

Tandus, a contracted supplier of Premier Inc., achieved top status in 2006 by being one of a few select vendors to receive Premier's Supplier Performance Award. The winners were chosen based on outstanding quality improvement as contracted suppliers. The companies that received this award scored 80 percent or above on specific scorecard metrics for four successive quarters. Criteria included meeting or exceeding the needs and expectations of Premier members, delivering quality products on time and at contracted cost, as well as following all Premier contract rules and obligations.
