Jonathan Adler opens International Home Furnishings Market

The third season of Jonathan Adler Furniture will premiere at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, North Carolina. Adler's first two comprehensive seasons of upholstered furniture and accent pieces for the home debuted at High Point throughout 2005 and are now available at retail stores across the U.S. and Canada.
The celebrated interior designer and bon vivant will be in High Point to answer questions about his design inspiration from April 26th through April 28th in showroom C1058, IHFC.
The third collection of Jonathan Adler Furniture includes a total of 23 items and 10 fabrics bringing the total numbers in the collection to 82 items [44 in the first collection, 15 in the second] and 95 fabrics [64 in the first collection, 21 in the second].
The 10 new fabrics in the third collection include four velvets with a linen-like appearance; three microfibers, two poly-blends and the first introduction of leather, which is reserved exclusively for the new Graham Collection.
All upholstered pieces are available in any of the 94 fabrics [the new leather addition is available only on the Graham Collection's sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman] and in a selection of four wood finishes including espresso, Americana, chestnut and honey.
The 39-year-old designer's career began when famed NY retailer Barneys placed their first order for his line of groovy, graphic pottery.
In 1998, Jonathan opened his first store in SoHo and in addition to pottery, began offering pillows, rugs and lighting as well as vintage pieces he personally sought to accent his own designs. The success of the SoHo store eventually led to the opening of stores on Madison Avenue, in East Hampton, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Chicago.
