Textile rotary screen printing equipment production focused in India

1 min read

Stork Prints announced that it will concentrate the manufacture, sales and service of textile rotary screen printing equipment at Stovec Industries, its Indian subsidiary based in Ahmedabad.

Stovec Industries has a long history of manufacturing textile rotary screen printing machines. The decision was reached after a period of intensive investigation into the different options for transferring the manufacturing base of these printing systems to Asia.

The talks between Stork Prints and Fong's Industries Co Ltd on setting up a joint venture for this purpose have by mutual agreement been stopped.

Dispensing activities sold
To further streamline Stork Prints, the dispensing activities in Brummen have been sold a few weeks ago by means of a management buy-out.

Stork Prints is a group of companies that are a leading provider of system and application know-how in rotary screen printing and digital printing processes for the textile and graphic arts industries. The company is based in the Netherlands, with sales offices worldwide. It has a total workforce of 1,415 and, in 2005, had a total turnover of EUR 200 million.
