Quaker Fabric announces start-up of advanced finishing & post-finishing plant

Quaker Fabric Corporation and Hangzhou Zhongwang Fabric Products Company Ltd jointly announced the planned start-up of a state of the art finishing and post-finishing plant at Zhongwang's manufacturing facilities in Hangzhou, China, making it the only modern vertically-integrated upholstery fabric mill in China.

Based on technology and technical support provided by Quaker, this new plant is scheduled to commence operations in November, with the proprietary portion of the technology employed in it to be used exclusively to finish Quaker products.

So, one of the objectives we set for ourselves when we first began working with Zhongwang was to assist them with the installation of state-of-the-art finishing and post-finishing capability so that we could maintain that competitive edge in all of our products.”
