Fountain Set wins Fabrics China Award for Technical Innovation 2006

Fountain Set (Holdings) Limited, a global leader in the manufacturing of circular knitted fabrics, won the Fabrics China Award for Technical Innovation 2006 issued by the China Textiles Development Center and the China Textile Information Center. The award presentation ceremony, in its seventh year, was held in Shanghai, China on October 24, 2006.

The Fabrics China Award is one of China's most prestigious and respected industry awards. It recognizes outstanding fabric development projects by considering their achievements in technological innovations, marketability and application.

The judging criteria included assessing a company's fabrics development strategy, manufacturing operation and management, promotion, staff training and brand building competence.

This year, a total of 44 entries across the nation were considered and the Group was the only Hong Kong-based fabric manufacturer honoured with this award.

Fountain Set won the award for its application of Outlast thermal regulation technology in knitted fabrics. Since 2002, the Group has been engaged in joint development and manufacturing with Outlast Technologies Inc to produce fabrics for internationally renowned apparel brands.
