Eskay K'n'IT (India) Limited, the flagship company of Navin Kumar Tayal enterprise, has reported an increase of 1.85 percent in its net sales at Rs 123.97 crores during the second quarter ended September 30 2006 as against the net sales of Rs 121.72 crores during the previous corresponding quarter ended September 30 2005.
The company has reported a profit of Rs 6.82 crores for the second quarter of the fiscal ended September 30, 2006 against Rs 12.44 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company has reported an increase in its net profits during the first six months of this fiscal at Rs 15.34 crores as against Rs 15.08 crores during the corresponding period last year.
Eskay K'n'IT (India) Limited is an integrated textile unit engaged in the business of spinning, knitting and processing of yarn and fabrics. The company's plants are located at Silvassa in Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Bhilad in Gujarat and Navi Mumbai.
The Company presently has an installed capacity of 65,000 spindles giving it a spinning capacity of 24,000 tpa, 200 knitting machines having a capacity of 33,000 tpa, 18,000 tpa of processing and 10,000 tpa TFO capacity.
The promoter-Chairman Mr. Navin Kumar Tayal has a rich experience of over two decades in textile and fabrics and is ably supported by an experienced and efficient management team.
Over the years Mr. Tayal has been associated with the implementation of various projects of Krishna Group of Companies, which today is one of the leading players in the Indian textile industry.
