Indus Fila chalks Rs166.2 cr growth plans to raise fabric output

Indus Fila Limited has framed a Rs166.24 crores expansion plan to augment its capacities in fabric weaving, yarn dyeing, processing, garment production and also to construct 'Centre of Excellence'.

Company is a modern textiles and fashion products manufacturer which concentrates on designing and backward integration capabilities, with Nitin Mandhana being the successful leading director.

Firm's functional income for the year ended March 31, 2006 was Rs82.49 crores and profit after tax (PAT) for the same was Rs5.49 crores. For the half year ended September 30, 2006 income was Rs109.18 crores and PAT was Rs10.63 crores.

It presently produces colour dyed and solid dyed fabrics for local apparel makers and exporters. It targets country's fabrics market, garment exports and overseas markets.

Indus Fila has production and distribution units at various locations in Bangalore, Mysore, Chennai and Mumbai. It gets the plus point of serving consumers from multiple locations due to this.

Company possesses 156 weaving looms with an annual fabric output of about 20.80 million meters and 750 sewing machines having yearly production capacity of 2.70 million garments.
