Fuan's new effluent treatment unit officially government certified

Fountain Set (Holdings) Limited is pleased to announce that Dongguan Fuan Textiles Limited (Fuan), a joint venture subsidiary of the Fountain Set Group, obtained official government certification for its new effluent treatment unit.

The capacity of the new Fuan effluent treatment unit is about 12,000 tonnes per day, and the production volume of Fuan will increase approximately by 30% in the near future.

The total rebuilding cost of this unit was about RMB 20 million and was included in the original capital expenditure budgets of the financial year of 2005 and 2006.

Construction began on the new effluent treatment unit at Fuan in the middle of 2005, with operation testing since late September 2006.
