Raj Rayon appoints a new Director

Anjali Agarwal has been appointed as Director of Mumbai-based Raj Rayon Ltd (RRL) in place of Neraj Agarwal with effect from Mar 05, 2007, sources reported on Friday.
RRL recently reported that for the quarter ended December 2006 its earnings fell from Rs29.01 million to Rs26.63 million, a drop of 8.20 percent though net sales for the quarter rose 2.29 percent to Rs832.05 million in comparison to corresponding quarter of last year.
Raj Rayon Ltd was incorporated in 1993 and is engaged in manufacturing of polyester texturised yarn (PTY) and partially oriented yarn (POY).
PTY is mainly used for manufacturing apparels i.e. shirting, suiting, ladies` dress material, etc. POY is used as raw material for manufacturing PTY.
