Whirlpool announces quarterly dividend

Michigan based home appliances maker Whirlpool Corporation's Board of Directors held meeting to declared a quarterly dividend of 43 cents per share on the common stock of the Company. The dividend is payable September 15, 2005, to holders of common stock of record at the close of business on August 30, 2005.
