Victor Innovatex Inc of Saint-Georges, Quebec, Canada, which recently purchased the assets of Quaker Fabrics and subsequently created Victor Innovative Textiles, located in Fall River, Massachusetts, is pleased to announce the appointments of Bea Spires and Duncan Whitehead to senior management positions.
Bea Spires will be heading Victor Innovative Textiles' Design Group. Spires is recognized as the furniture industry's fabric design leader. She has developed and maintained a library of more than 35,000 textile designs currently used worldwide.
Duncan Whitehead is a globally recognized innovator in yarn, weaving and finishing technologies. Whitehead will be heading the company's Research and Development, Domestic Operations, and Global Sourcing.

Victor Innovative Textiles continues to hire engineering and manufacturing associates for the start-up process, which is expected to be completed by mid-October when initial fabric production will begin at the Fall River, Massachusetts facility.
Adding to its China supply program, Victor is also pleased to announce the resumption of its agreement with China-based Zhongwang for the design and supply of the Quaker Global Line.
