PFAFF Industrie receives 'Supplier of the Year 2006' Award

This represents an exceptional achievement for PFAFF, coming after the Interzum fair and Reddot Innovation Prize which it received in the “Best of the Best” category in May 2007 for its new PFAFF Powerline Products, the Industrie 2007 Prize for Innovation awarded by the Initiative Mittelstand organization for small and medium-sized businesses and the IMB Innovation Award which it received in May 2006.

The award was presented to PFAFF by Dr. Sezai Kaya (CEO HUGO BOSS, Izmir) as part of the “Hugo Boss Operational Excellence Days 2007” in Izmir, Turkey. It was accepted by PFAFF Sales & Marketing director Ulric Rechtsteiner and the Area Manager in charge, Frank Grunau. The ”Supplier of the Year 2006” award was judged according to the criteria of price, quality, communication, creativity, flexibility, service, deadline abidance and openness to new ideas.

PFAFF CEO Peter Schwenk was delighted. “This outstanding award is an important performance evidence of the PFAFF Group and illustrates the confidence of HUGO BOSS in the PFAFF brand. The past few years have been characterized by highly successful cooperation between HUGO BOSS and PFAFF at all levels. This award is a meaningful recognition of the extraordinary engagement of our sales team, including consultation and service, by one of the world's leading clothing manufacturers.“

The successful partnership between HUGOBOSS and PFAFF has been further intensified in recent years. Specific technical solutions were developed together in an extensive application workshop in Izmir in spring of this year.
