Govt supports textile company to boost production capacity

The Government of Hebei Province recently signed a cooperation agreement with ChinaTex Corporation on March 6. The latter being a central enterprise belonging to state-owned Assets Supervision Commission, is into the business of textile raw material including cotton and processing of clothes.
The cooperation between the two was mainly aimed at supporting the project of 'Fine Textile & Clothes of China Tex Corporation Yi Cotton'.
A total of 1.073 billion yuan will be invested for the completion of this project which is expected to increase the production capacity of new fibre yarn to 26,000 tons, cloth to 66.7 million meters.
Besides, the capacity for pieces of cloth is likely to increase to 2 million ensuring a steady growth for the company as well as for the entire textile industry.
ChinaTex Corporation also has plans to establish an export and production base for textile, clothing and other industries in Heibei Province.
