Increasing environmental pollution and shortage of water sources have severely restrained the development of the Chinese textile industry.

The industry consumes over 10 billion tons of water annually, of which the dyeing and printing industry alone utilizes 1.7 billion tons.

The consumption level of the dyeing and printing industry is over 2 times more than the same sector in foreign countries.

Besides, the sewage discharge of the overall textile industry reaches 1.6 billion tons which is over 3 times higher than in other countries.

In order to solve the problem of scarcity of water, the Dandong Fixed Star Chemical Co Ltd with the support of the Government, undertook the task of research for developing a waterless dyeing & printing equipments two years back.

It was only recently, that the company successfully introduced an intelligent waterless dyeing & printing equipment that overleaps the complicated procedures of the traditional machine. Most importantly, it helps save a substantial amount of water which can be used for other purposes.

This new equipment allows direct dyeing and printing on fabrics and improves the quality level of the production. Moreover, this will also strengthen the competition of local dyeing and printing products in the international market.
