Dorset based International Craft & Hobby Fair Ltd (ICHF) is going to organize Fashion & Embroidery retail show during October 7 to 9, 2005. The show is a feast of displays, supplies, demonstrations and fashion shows.

Show Theme - 'The Countryside'
The countryside, especially flowers and foliage, have dominated textile design. Throughout the centuries floral motifs and patterns, including leaves, stems, nuts, fruit and berries as well as flowers, have been used on every kind of textile, whether woven, printed or embroidered.
The diversity of nature has made it one of the greatest sources of inspiration for decorative artists. Whether explored month by month through the changing seasons, like the appearance of the first snowdrops, the arrival of migrating birds, ripening of fruits, or harvesting the corn, or by observing the natural patchwork of the countryside with its multitude of textures and colours.
