Jacquard textiles maker posts business results for 2007

At the annual media conference in Zurich Lantal informed about the business results 2007.
An increase in sales of 8.7%, 10 newly created full-time jobs and major investments in the expansion of capacity and competence demonstrate the high dynamic of the last year.
With a consolidated sales of CHF 115.476 million, Lantal reached an increase of 8,7% compared to the previous year (2006: CHF 106,207 million). At the end of 2007, Lantal employed 436 people including 14 apprentices.
Lantal has set the course for the future to strengthen its position as a provider of all-in-one solutions for soft interiors and to advance into further business areas.
Based on the strong demand in all markets the expansion of capacity was given high priority.
At the same time the strategic fields of competence were further developed, especially within the new business unit engineering and as an essential part of it the flammability test lab.
