Dürkopp Adler completes M-TYPE series

With the launch of the new cylinder arm version class 669 Dürkopp Adler can offer all types of construction of the M-TYPE platform now. Thus, the successful series has been completed.
“With the M-TYPE program we are able to cover the largest part of all applications occurring in the field of medium-heavy duty sewing“, says Dietrich Eickhoff, Manager Sales & Marketing of the Dürkopp Adler Group.” Moreover, also in the segment 'shoe machines' we are excellently positioned with the M-TYPE”, Eickhoff continues.
Apart from the outstanding technological features of the MTYPE series the machines are of great interest to the customers due to their high flexibility. Dietrich Eickhoff: „The advantages for the customers are obvious. Due to the platform concept all features can be combined.“
Especially customer-oriented is also the newly-arranged concept of the program versions ECO, CLASSIC and PREMIUM. Thus, the customer can find out the appropriate version for his application very easily.
The success of the M-TYPE program becomes evident when having a look at the sales figures. Since their launch in 2005 more than 7,000 M-TYPE machines have been sold up to now. And the interest is growing further. In recent weeks the leading manufacturers of car interiors have informed themselves about the novelties of the M-TYPE series at the Dürkopp Adler headquarters in Bielefeld.
The technical possibilities, the flexibility and the equipment variants were enthusiastically received. Orders were placed for several hundred machines to be delivered still this year.
The M-TYPE series is further developed continuously in order to meet the market requirements with ever new solutions. The models are extended constantly. At the Interzum taking place in Cologne next year Dürkopp Adler will present a dozen of new M-TYPE machines, among them the PREMIUM flat bed version as well as a version with disconnect able needle.
The success of the M-TYPE is also reflected in the number of competitors trying to copy the concept. These imitations leave Dürkopp Adler unimpressed however. Dietrich Eickhoff: “We knew that we would be copied, but we are prepared for imitators. Ultimately the M-TYPE has gained such a good reputation during the past three years that everybody knows: The M-TYPE is the original.”
