International conclave on SME industry from Dec-12

The international conclave of SME industry, a first time in India, proposes to bring in a diverse representation of the SME ecosystem under one roof over a 2 day intensive deliberations in Delhi during the 12th and 13th of December 2008
The Theme:
The following Themes seek to position the event in all its communication & promotional exercises leading to the event.
-The Indian SMEs are on the threshold of becoming the global leaders in the near future. The event with the theme of 'Get, Set, Grow' will help the MSMEs to tap the global knowledge pool and adopt world's best practices.
-Exploring and addressing the common issues faced by Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises to build a common global platform for growth.
-Government machinery alone not sufficient to bring about the all important changes in the SME sector. Private sectors, NGO's, International development agencies, etc representing the SME Ecosystem have an important role to play in the evolution of the Industry.
-The conference organized by Milagrow aims to make a concerted effort to bring together all partners in this Ecosystem to develop an agenda for growth & sustenance in a Globalised world.
-New generation of SME entrepreneurs are discovering new opportunities beyond their core businesses. They are keen to explore new avenues in emerging sectors like retail, telecom, oil & gas, hospitality & education. An international gathering will be an ideal platform to explore and connect with these latest themes.
The Outcomes:
-Presentation on the global best practices on SME policies across 30 countries that will aid in formulation of future national policies & programmes.
-Provide a forum for Policy makers ,Bureaucrats, Industry captains across diverse countries to exchange views and knowledge
-Provide a coordinated independent regional viewpoint on issues for strategic developments of SME.
-Provide a neutral and informed forum for addressing impediments/challenges to SME sector from a national/regional & Intl perspective.
-Future Action agenda as culmination of the summit on general initiatives.
