Bioplex CXL confers high de-pilling action on fabrics

In its continuing commitment towards environment protection, a complete series of Bio-polishing Enzymes have been approved for Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and many more of other products are under the process of approvals.
From amongst its many products, Bioplex CXL is a highly aggressive cellulose preparation for the finishing of Cellulosic materials like cotton, rayon, tencel and their blends. Microgenix Bioplex CXL has been especially developed to retain maximum colour depth and confer high de-pilling action.
Microgenix Bioplex CXL is especially designed to remove impurities and individual loose fiber ends from the fabric surface commonly known as pilling. The enzymatic hydrolysis weakens the fiber ends and the mechanical action separates the same from the fabric surface.
This results in a clear fabric surface and visible fabric texture. Microgenix Bioplex CXL if used before dyeing improves the dye ability and results in greater yield and better sheen. Microgenix Bioplex CXL also confers moderate softness and smoothness, which is virtually permanent.
The application of Microgenix Bioplex CXL also increases the moisture absorption that eventually increases the efficiency of surface acting agents that are used subsequently. The advantages which are many, but to name a few are reduced pilling, clear fabric surface and improved softness and smoothness.
The others being improved drape ability, improves moisture absorbability, improved dye ability, yield and levelness and the last but not the least it is environment friendly and economical in application.
Microgenix Bioplex CXL provides the best results at pH values between 4.5-5.5 with the best being 5, temperature between 500C–600C, best temperature being 550C, dosage 0.5 – 1.0% (w.o.f), liquor ratio at 1.5/6/7 and time duration between 15-45 minutes.
Effects of Microgenix Bioplex CXL however can be inactivated if needed, by either alkaline rinse at pH between 9-10 or by raising the temperature to about 700C-800C for 10 minutes.
