Microgenix Specialities Private Limited, based in Ahmedabad, India and holding an ISO-9001:2000 recommended by TUV SuD South Asia, is a company obsessed with quality. A simple evolution on the graph to a growth phenomenal and limitless is what the company is all about. The basics are simple and essential and maintaining the highest quality standards for the company is not an act but a habit.
Microgenix is a leading company in to the manufacturing of specialty chemicals basically for the textile finishing industry like Bio-polishing Enzymes, Natural Celluloses Enzymes, Acid Celluloses for Denims, Pretreatment Formulations, Silicone Specialties, Auxiliaries and Softeners.
In its continuing commitment towards environment protection, a complete series of Bio-polishing Enzymes have been approved for Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and many more of other products are under the process of approvals.
From amongst its many products, Microgenix CATA G is an ultra low yellowing formulation for the finishing of Cellulosic and blended materials. The ingredients of CATA G develop a strong linkage with the fiber surface and assists in minimizing bending length, length bending rigidity and flexural rigidity, generally considered to evaluate the performance of softeners.
CATA G imparts soft handle and greasy surface feel to the fabric. The product can be used solo or in conjunction with other additives such as resins etc. It is also a low viscosity liquid and hence quickly dissolves in bath liquor uniformly.
The product is especially designed to suit the requirement of exhaust process. And for the same purpose the product is formulated with dispersal boosters, penetration accelerators and bonding agent to ensure maximum wet pick up and wash stability. The application of CATA G is comparably a low yellowing product and confers fair amount of luster to the processed materials and can also be used on knitted material.
Application Procedure: Microgenix CATA G is to be applied at the final stage of fabric/garment processing. The processing can be e carried at room temperature; however luke warm water is always helpful in achieving better results. The dosage may vary from 2 - 4% on weight of fabric/garment, with a liquor ratio of 1-4/5/6 and a pH between 5.5 - 7. The process timings can be adjusted between 10–20 minutes depending upon the desired results.
