New technology to revolutionize spinning of yarns

A world class new spinning technology has recently been adopted by Shandong Ruyi Group has recently been approved and appraised by experts. The new spinning technology called “Wishful Spinning” is a short-flow and high performance embedded technology.

The technology is expected to play a major role in changing the landscape of the textile industry in China. According to the Shandong Ruyi Group, this technology will help save 20 percent in raw material costs.

The “Short-flow & high-performance embedded composite spinning technology", creatively adds a "Twisting Triangle Area" device in traditional ring spinning and flat-spinning equipment, which greatly reduces fibre number demand and length demand of finished yarns.

This in effect means that a higher count of yarn can be produced by using fibre meant for lower counts in conventional spinning, leading to a huge cost saving, optimal use of resources and full utilization of raw materials.

The technology has the capacity to re-utilize 100 percent waste fibres and can also freely use blends of wool, hemp, cotton, man-made and other fibres. It also has the ability to solve static and pilling problems in wool yarns.

In particular, the technology breaks through current barriers in spinning high count of yarns. It can process cotton yarn in counts higher than 400 Ne and wool yarn with count higher than 300 nm up to 500nm.
